InfraGard is a National partnership between the FBI and the private and public sectors. It is an association of individuals who represent businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the U.S.
The InfraGard Sacramento Member Alliance (IMA) has been established in partnership with the FBI Sacramento Division for close to a decade and is one of 85 chapters in the FBI’s InfraGard network and a member of the InfraGard National Members Alliance.
The Sacramento IMA holds regular meetings and provides members with a forum for information sharing within a secure environment, while focusing on protecting the critical infrastructure of Sacramento and surrounding areas.
The members of the Sacramento IMA are part of a national network of FBI-vetted volunteers who are Subject Matter Experts (SME) for critical infrastructure in one or more critical sectors. It provides a trusted forum for the real-time exchange of information, training, and expertise related to the protection of critical infrastructure.
The Sacramento IMA Chapter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with over 200 members. It is governed by a dedicated group of volunteers that comprise a Board of Directors, an Operating Committee, and the Advisory Board.
Since incorporation in 2006, the Sacramento-IMA has been providing outstanding leadership, management, information technology, and related security training through its network of SME, whom for the most part are secure members of the FBI’s National InfraGard Program.
